    We are seeking a recent graduate (BS) to join our NSF funded research program as a research technician in our laboratory. Work will involve biochemical, biophysical, chemical, and molecular biology approaches to validate small molecule inhibitors as potential probes to study bacterial cell wall metabolism. A background in biochemistry or chemical biology with some laboratory experience is preferred. Responsibilities will include conducting protein-ligand interaction studies, investigating gene expression changes in genetically and chemically inactivated proteins, assist in supervision of undergraduate researchers, engage with collaborators, and general lab management.

    This is a temporary appointment that will run until August 31st, 2021 with the possibility of an additional two-year renewal.
