    Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment. ERI@N has multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes which focus on translational Research, Development & Deployment which focus on specific area of the energy value chain, and a number of Living labs and Testbeds which facilitate large scale technology deployment enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications.

    The Research Fellow's responsibility entails overseeing the development of Perovskite vacuum processes and other vacuum-based techniques for building multilayered structures, using both organic and inorganic materials. This role involves ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of these processes to achieve desired material properties and structural characteristics.


     


    Key Responsibilities:


    As part of the candidate's scope of work, they main responsibilities will be focusing on the development of the Perovskite Evaporation Process for Various Perovskite Compositions




    • The candidate would be involved in researching, designing, and optimizing the evaporation process for different types of Perovskite compositions.




    • Creating Innovative Meta-Structures: the candidate would be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative meta-structures to engineered materials or structures with unique properties that are not found in nature.




    • The candidate's role would be to explore new design concepts, simulate their behavior using modeling tools, and collaborate with experimental teams to fabricate and characterize the structures.




    This work will involve multidisciplinary collaboration with physicists, materials scientists, and engineers.


     


    Job Requirements:




    • Possess PhD in Physics or Material Science.




    • Experience in Perovskite materials and optoelectronic devices




    • Expert in Perovskite Thermal Evaporation




    • Good interpersonal skills.




    • Excellent teamwork awareness.




    • Good communication and writing in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders




    • Strong responsibility for research/work.
