    The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at NTU Singapore hosts research and education activities in two divisions: Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) and Division of Physics and Applied Physics (PAP). MAS covers diverse topics ranging from pure mathematics to the applications of mathematics in cryptography, computing, business, and finance. PAP covers many areas of fundamental and applied physics, including quantum information, condensed matter physics, biophysics, and photonics. Over the years, SPMS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.


    A Senior Research Fellow position is available under Quantum Technology with ultracold atoms lab in School of Physical and Mathematical sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.


     


    Key Responsibilities:




    • Conduct research activities related to the Quantum project 




    • Supervise a team of 6 to 9 researchers




    • Train young researchers and students




    • Coordinate technical and scientific efforts




     


    Job Requirements:




    • The candidate must hold a PhD degree in Experimental Quantum Physics or a relevant discipline from a well-established university or institution.




    • The candidate should also have at least 4 years of successful post-doctoral experiences in laser cooling of atoms or related research areas.




    • The candidate must be highly motivated in research and must have proven experience in Quantum projects.




    • The candidate should possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
