    Job Description


    The School of Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University seeks applicants for three lecturer positions with expertise in the broad areas of cybersecurity and cyber operations. The School of Cybersecurity places high value on excellence in teaching and seeks to complement the existing academic strengths in cybersecurity and cyber operations. The Lecturers will primarily support graduate education at the School of Cybersecurity. The position also requires advising for undergraduate and graduate students. The lecturers are expected to be able to develop new cybersecurity courses to support the growth of the cybersecurity program.

    M.S. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is required for appointment.

    Successful applicants are expected to have demonstrated successful teaching experience in cybersecurity or cyber operations

    Preferred Qualifications


    Preference will be given to candidates who have a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field and/or experience teaching hands-on lab courses in cybersecurity (cybersecurity techniques and operations, ethical hacking, etc.).
