Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Summer Instructor for the ACES (Accessing Careers in Engineering and Science) Math/Coding Class, part of a pre-college program designed to introduce high school students from underrepresented backgrounds to STEM fields. The instructor will deliver engaging instruction in foundational mathematics and computer science to inspire and prepare students for future success in college-level STEM education.
• Submit a detailed curriculum and course outline to the Director of High School Enrichment Programs. • Conduct classroom instruction at the designated time and location. • Provide the Director with feedback on students' performance and behavior. • Enforce all program rules and regulations. • Submit completed evaluation forms at the end of the program. • Report disciplinary problems to the Director within 24 hours of their occurrence. • Participate in Staff Meetings. • Submit completed evaluation forms to the Director at end of program.

Compensation Range
In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the hourly base range for this position is In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00. This range represents the University’s good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position’s scope and responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation, such as incentives, stipends, or other applicable pay components.
