The candidate should have technical experience and knowledge in the areas of mycobacterial enzymes, setting up of cryo-EM and crystallography experiments, their data analysis and structure determination. The candidate will provide leadership, communication skills and mentoring to students working in the team.

We are seeking a highly experienced senior scientist with expertise in structural biology, particularly in protein chemistry and cryo-EM. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving research on mycobacterial enzymes and multi-subunit complexes, contributing both technical expertise and leadership to the team.

Job Responsibilities:

  Lead and conduct research on the 3D structure determination of mycobacterial enzymes and large protein complexes.

  
  


• 
  

  Set up and perform cryo-EM experiments, including data collection, processing, and structural analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide mentorship to students and junior researchers in the lab.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate research findings effectively and contribute to collaborative projects.

  
  

Job Requirements:

• 
  

  PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, or a related field with at least of years of relevant experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Extensive technical experience in protein chemistry, protein engineering, and 3D structure determination of large/multi-subunit enzyme complexes.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven expertise in cryo-EM experiment design, execution, and data interpretation.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring students or junior scientists.
