Expertise: My current research interests are in environmental bioanalytical/analytical chemistry. My main project is in the development of novel biosensors that use synthetic DNA fragments as probes for the detection of environmental contaminants in aquatic systems. My secondary projects are collaborative efforts to determine the anticancer properties of antimicrobial peptide analogues in human cancer cells.
