Her research focuses on understanding how the conformational landscape of the Fab fragment of antibodies is affected by the sequence diversity at the hypervariable regions. To accomplish her research goals, Dr. Hua and undergraduate researchers will employ a variety of computational and biochemical techniques. Dr. Hua currently teaches the Biochemistry series and a chemistry course for nursing professionals. She finds joy in working with students, listening to their stories and becoming their advocate.
