Expertise: Dr. Bonser’s research interests are in the general areas of synthetic organic and physical organic chemistry, with a particular emphasis on small ring chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, polyaromatic chemistry, and process development chemistry. Research topics include: 1) the synthesis and chemistry of diaziridines; 2) the synthesis and chemistry of trans-bicyclo[n.1.0]alkanes; 3) the efficient synthesis and chemical development of a phenylindane dicarboxylic acid; 4) the synthesis and chemistry of new Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) compounds.
