Expertise: Dr Christie is a biochemist and structural biologist. Her laboratory focuses on the structure and function of proteins- the fundamental molecular machines of the cell. Her research interests include post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, RNA biology, nucleocytoplasmic transport and protein engineering.
