Expertise: High redshift radio galaxies: Infrared imaging of ultra-steep spectrum radio sources to find high redshift galaxy candidates.
Circumnuclear environment of radio galaxies: Dynamics and interactions in elliptical galaxies and the triggering of radio activity.
Unified models of active galaxies: diagnostics of starburst and AGN processes using optical and infrared spectroscopy.
The impact of environment in the evolution of galaxies.
Using the SAMI galaxy survey, she is studying the nearby AGN population and kinematic disturbance as a function of galaxy environment.
Astrophotonics: developing astrophotonic devices for future astronomical instruments, in both the optical and infrared. In particular imaging fibre bundles called hexabundles.
