Computational Materials Physics: Exploring the quantum phenomena of confined nanostructured devices in view of engineering their properties for potential device applications. Currently focusing on ab-initio electronic structure calculations for novel materials (such as epitaxial graphene on different substrates), and electronic/thermal transport in nanostructured materials for better thermal management and hermoelectric applications.
