Expertise: My main research interest is development toxicology. We use mice and rats to conduct toxicity screens on chemicals and/or drug delivery systems to determine their potential to cause developmental defects. Another interest is using diabetic rat models to determine if chromium is an essential element. Currently my lab is using mice to determine the developmental toxicity and biodistribution of iron oxide nanoparticles.
