Expertise: Our lab is interested in the question of how neural circuits are formed during development. Failures in this process may underlie mental and neurological disorders such as Autism and Down Syndrome. In addition, it is widely believed that an understanding of the mechanisms that control neural circuit formation will lead to the development of therapies to promote regeneration after neural injury
