My research is focused on the structural and the magnetic properties of materials. Synthetic methods include arc-melting, thermal evaporation, sputtering, mechanical alloying and milling. Structural characterization methods include x-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Magnetic property measurements using SQUID, AGFM, and VSM magnetometers and MÓ§ssbauer Specroscopy, at different temperatures. Current topics under investigation for basic science and/or for the application in nanotechnology are nanomagnetic structures, magnetic oxides, and superconducting materials
