My research in computer science has been recently focused on two areas: theoretical computer science and its applications in politics and computer science education with a special focus on the teaching of computational theory . I have also worked in the area of computational linguistics and its applications in Arabic Language Processing. I’m also interested in the area of education management and academic quality assurance and have written several policy proposals and frameworks in this area and continue to collaborate with colleagues from different academic institutions in Oman. In education and pedagogy, I’m interested in “learning and education of gifted students” and look forward to collaborate with researchers in this field.
