In conjunction with tacking global “Big” issues such as climate change and adaptation, sustainable cities, sustainable livelihoods, conservation and natural resource management, Dr. Halog and his students are investigating and analysing the implications of further development of industrial and human engineered systems. Anthony Halog’s research areas transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries of natural sciences, engineering and social sciences. His research focus at UQ is on developing quantitative and computational models and tools to analyse emerging technologies and industrial ecosystems, which can provide exciting breakthroughs in research and educational innovation in sustainability science and engineering
