Expertise: My lab focuses on understanding the impact of different ecological variables on physiological processes. We are interested in questions that range from cellular physiology of ion regulation in protistan parasites to the ecophysiology of invertebrate development in different marine environments. Utilizing comparative approaches we aim to understand the broad set of physiological mechanisms available to organisms for meeting their environment-specific requirements
