My research interests focus on coulombic correlation effects in nanostructure quantum dots which provide nearly ideal examples of zero-dimensional semiconductor systems. Such single quantum dots constitute ideal object for studying relaxation phenomena. \n\nI investigate theoretically the correlation energies of the excitonic complexes in the III–V nanostructures InAs/GaAs and In(x)Ga(1−x)N/GaN quantum dots. \n\nRecently, I am focused on the II-VI qauntum dots CdTe/CdMnTe.
