Expertise: My research is about how the brain learns and stores information. Unlike computers, our brain stores information associatively — it is poor at memorizing details but good at recalling one object from related ones. Biological observations of synaptic plasticity provide a cellular basis for the model of associative memory and learning. I am interested in properties of various learning models, in particular, memory capacity.
I am also interested in statistics education.
