A postdoctoral position in experimental surface science is immediately available in the groups of Professors K W Hipps and Ursula Mazur at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. The work relates to surface chemistry and adsorption processes at the solution-solid interface. Scanning tunneling and atomic force microscopy will be the primary tools used. The position is for one year with the possibility of extension.
A PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or a related engineering field is required. Experience in scanning probe microscopy is desirable, but not essential. Candidate must be an experienced experimentalist, have a strong publication record, and have good English communication skills.
