Position Summary

The Pillon Lab is seeking a Research Technician II. The labs research program lies at the intersect of structural biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and RNA biology. The candidate will carry out routine laboratory procedures such as biochemical preparations, molecular biology procedures, and cell culture, while assisting others with routine tasks in the laboratory that directly relate to the project. They will also be tasks with completing more specific experiments that require their knowledge or experience. The candidate will assist with laboratory upkeep and ordering as necessary for the project.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates degree or two years formal training in subject matter directly related to the project or program.
  • Three years of experience with biochemistry or equivalent laboratory work.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in biological sciences.
  • Two years of direct experience with RNA biology.


Physical Demands


Salary Range
$36,900 - $45,000
