Biostratigraphic-magnetostratigraphic correlation of deep-sea sediments. Relationship between climatic changes and fluctuations in the distribution and activity of majors; late Mesozoic-Cenozoic oceanographic history of the southern high latitudes; history of Antarctic glaciations and its effects on climates and oceanic circulations; and biostratigraphy-paleoceanography of the Norwegian-Greenland Sea.
