My area of interest is in the theory and phenomenology of transport properties of matter consisting of quarks and gluons, known as quark-gluon plasma (QGP). QGP is believed to exist moments after Big Bang and before the hadronization started. In a very short space and time scale, it is also created in extremely high energy nuclear collisions, sometimes called 'Little Bangs', of heavy ions in facilities like RHIC in Long Island and at LHC in Europe.
