Expertise: Research interests are three-pronged: 1. study of molecular/organic crystals (including energetic materials) at high pressures and variable temperature using Raman and X-ray spectroscopic methods; 2. investigation of actinide and lanthanide metals at high pressure using X-ray spectroscopic methods; and 3. efforts to demonstrate the validity of Ion Beam Nuclear Transmutation Doping (IBNTD) method for the doping of Wide Band Gap Semiconductors using Raman, micro-Raman, X-ray, and Photoluminescence methods.
