This is an application for an academic position as a professor of MICROBIOLOGY OR MICROBIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY. I am a Jordanian Ph .D in microbiology and molecular biology. I have worked in biological control using Bacillus thuringeinsis as a bio-insecticide. At the same time I am doing a research in Agrobacterium tumefaciens hopping of using the Ti-plasmid vector for Bt gene transformation to have an insect resistant transgenic plants. My experience with plant tissue culture is an important tool to express my goals to have transgenic plants expressing the gene of interest. In the mean time I am working on environmental microbes with biotechnological application to get rid of heavy metals waste accumulation in the environment. A new research project on assessment of newly synthetic heterocyclic compound or naturally plant products as an antimicrobial and an antitumor is running now. Many of my research papers on the antagonistic effect against animal or plant pathogen has been published as shown in my C.V. Most of my research work was and still concentrated on having a unique streptomycetes isolate hopping to have new antibiotic or antitumor producers especially the isolates collected from the arid region in Jordan.
