Dr. Nguyen research interests include wireless cooperative networks, network performance, protocol designs, and data mining. Wireless networks are prone to error and interference in addition to the drawback nature of shared bandwidth and half-duplex; their performance thus drops significantly when there are multiple users participating simultaneously. Dr. Nguyen recognized these problems and is working toward optimal solutions. He has published and presented papers in related journal and conferences.
