My research interests lie mainly in the fields of polymers and forensic science. I am especially interested in the synthesis of polymeric materials with interesting physical and chemical properties (such as polynorbornenes and polyacrylates), and the synthesis of the monomers which are the building blocks of these polymers. Recently, I have also become interested in using analytical techniques such as NMR to to determine microstructures of various polymeric materials, as well as to determine adulteration of consumer products.
