The United Arab Emirates University invites applications for an assistant/associate professor position in the area of Inorganic chemistry. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, a demonstrable research capability that will enable the candidate to develop and sustain an internally and externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish his/her research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University. Candidates will be required to teach general and Inorganic chemistry courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. The candidate must have a publication track record in top-tier journals. Experience in teaching, securing research grants, and graduate student supervision will be an advantage. Although the position is open to all areas of Inorganic chemistry, preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Bioinorganic chemistry or Organometallic chemistry.
The candidate must have a BSc degree in chemistry and a PhD in the area of Inorganic Chemistry or a related field from a reputed university
The candidate must have a good number of Q1 publications as determined by the Scimago Journal Ranking system.
• The candidate must have teaching experience at university level.
• The candidate must have a strong experience in different inorganic-related physical and chemical methods.
