Job Summary
Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Department of Computer and Information Technology invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Cybersecurity and Systems Analysis and Design (Tenure Track) position at the West Lafayette campus beginning in August 2023. Exceptional candidates are sought to join our fast-growing department and academic programs.
This position is in the area of cybersecurity and systems analysis and design. Responsibilities include developing an active research program, participating in both undergraduate and graduate course delivery and education assignments, and development in related topics as the department builds on its long-standing standing systems analysis and design, project management, cybersecurity, information security and cyberphysical security undergraduate and graduate education programs. Responsibilities also include engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the computing discipline.
Qualifications
All candidates must have an earned PhD degree in cybersecurity, computer and information technology, or a related field by the start of employment. While prior industry experience in cybersecurity and systems analysis and design is not mandatory, it is preferred.
