We are looking for a Project Officer to work on a project titled “Investigating the role of kindlins in cancer progression”. The role will focus on performing molecular and cell biology studies to delineate the regulatory mechanisms of kindlins, a small family of cytoplasmic proteins, and to determine their contributions to different cancer stages. Some of the work involve CRISPR editing of cell lines, lentiviral reconstitution of genes, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and cancer cell invasion assay. We are seeking for an enthusiastic candidate with experience in molecular biology (e.g. DNA cloning) and cell culture. The candidate will also assist the team in lab duties and day-to-day running of the lab.

Job Requirements:

BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences or related areas.
