The Fellow (Assistant Professor) will conduct research in niche areas of Plant Ecology/ Plant Taxonomy/Biodiversity, share responsibilities of teaching Environmental Studies course and offer course in Ecology and mentor undergraduate students in environment/ Plant Ecology related projects.
Educational Qualifications: Good academic background throughout from reputed academic institutions.
Ph.D. Botany/Forestry with specialization in Ecology/Floristic studies
Research & Teaching Experience:
2-3 years’ Post-doctoral research experience in a reputed laboratory
Teaching experience in courses related to Environmental Science and Plant Ecology
Research publications in reputed journals
Preferred Technical skills:
Floristic Studies and biodiversity characterization
Expertise in handling equipment/instruments related to Plant Ecology
Preferred area(s) of specialization:
Forest/Plant Ecology- Ecosystem studies
Wetland Ecology – Nutrient cycling
Eco-Taxonomy/ Floristic Studies
