The Computer Science Department at Nazarbayev University is seeking highly qualified full-time faculty members to join its rapidly growing program in Computer Science and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences. Applicants with research and/or teaching interests in Data Science are encouraged to apply. 

Successful candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor and above must have a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering or very closely related discipline from a reputable research university, and a demonstrated ability for research.  All candidates must have excellent English-language communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching and research.

Position responsibilities include an average teaching load of two (2) courses per semester (three (3) courses per semester for Instructors), ongoing engagement in relevant professional and research activities, student advising, and other activities related to the intellectual and cultural environment of the university.
