The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Project Officer in synthetic organic chemistry and catalysis.

 

The Project Officer will take on a significant role in the development of new photocatalytic molecular transformations.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Daily experiments and analyses of the data obtained from them

  • To submit weekly reports on the experimental results 

  • To give an oral presentation in group meeting

  • To summarize the project as the papers (one or two / year)

 

Job Requirements: 

  • BSc in Chemistry

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in synthetic organic chemistry in advanced institutions.

  • Analytical skills in NMR, mass spec, IR, UV-vis, potentiostat, etc.

  • Skills in handling of air-sensitive materials and transient species in synthetic electrophotochemistry
