    Job Description


    The Department of Physics in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science at Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for a postdoctoral or research scientist position, with an imminent starting date.


    Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in Physics or equivalent and research experience in the fields of nanophotonics and experimental quantum optics, with significant knowledge of nanophotonic fabrication and applications. Successful applicants are expected to join prominent research and development projects around innovative nanophotonics and quantum technology. They should possess a passion for and be committed to excellence in research in a highly interdisciplinary, collaborative, diverse, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture at Stevens. He or she is expected to become a part of collaborative research within the Center for Quantum Science and Engineering, the Physics Department and of multidisciplinary projects involving researchers from other departments and schools on campus.     The annual salary will be in the range of $60,000 to $70,000, depending on experiences and qualifications.
