    The NTU School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (NTU EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant.


    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Assistant to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCB design and fabrication, along with the capability to assist in various testing procedures and administrative tasks. This role is pivotal in supporting the team in achieving research objectives and advancing our technological innovations.


    Key Responsibilities:


    1. PCB Design and Fabrication:



    • Design and develop Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) according to project specifications.

    • Liaise with vendors for PCB fabrication, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.

    • Perform troubleshooting and rectification of PCB issues.


    2. Testing Assistance:



    • Assist in setting up and conducting a variety of tests on electronic components and systems.

    • Collaborate with the research team to develop test procedures and documentation.

    • Analyze test data and provide insightful feedback for improvements.


    3. Project Support:



    • Support the project team in various stages of the research and development process.

    • Ensure that project milestones are met and comply with quality standards.

    • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


    4. Administrative Duties:



    • Coordinate and manage project-related paperwork and documentation.

    • Schedule meetings and manage communication among team members.

    • Oversee the maintenance and inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.


    Job Requirements:



    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

    • Proven experience in PCB design and fabrication.

    • Familiarity with testing equipment and methodologies.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    • Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., CAD, PCB, FPGA design software).

    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
