    The Department of Computer Science of the TUM School of Computation, Information and Technology (CIT) at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, is looking for a Postdoc or PhD student (m/f/d) interested in optimization, dynamical systems, and game theory led by Prof. Martin Bichler (https://www.cs.cit.tum.de/en/dss/ ). The full-time position is initially limited to 2 years, but may be extended. Employment is on a salaried basis, depending on qualifications, with renmuneration in accordance with the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L E13).

    We are looking for Knowledge-hungry Team Players…



    • with an above-average Master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or physics

    • with a background in mathematical optimization (convex, non-convex), and/or dynamical systems

    • with knowledge/interest in the areas of game theory and economics

    • with implementation skills (preferably Python)

    • with excellent English language skills (German language skills are helpful but not necessary)

    • who enjoys research and teaching.
