My primary research interest focuses on the drivers of land use and land cover change in the Brazilian Amazon although I am a broadly trained geographer with interests in the physical geography of the local environment. I am also interested in student learning in the Geosciences specifically how information is coordinated for learning from multiple representations including animations and visualizations.
