Expertise: Our overall research goal is to better understand the regulation of skeletal muscle metabolism. We are specifically interested in unraveling the role of dysfunctional fatty acid (FA) metabolism in the development of metabolic pathologies such as obesity, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular diseases. Our research interest have led us to investigate the roles of various signaling cascades in the process of disease development
