Expertise: Her research interests are general microbiology and bioprocess. Research on bioprocess fermentation includes the study on different types of biosurfactant and their applications in various fields (food, agriculture, medical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical). The research also include application of biosurfactant in dealing with environmental problems such as oil spillage and heavy metal toxicity. Sponsors include Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) and Research Intensive Faculty
