My primary research interest is in developing ways to improve clinical supervision and training in empirically supported psychotherapies, especially in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Currently, this includes replication of a study to evaluate an online application designed to help train peer supervisors in DBT to differentiate more effective from less effective therapist in-session behaviors, an important skill in supervision. I'm also looking at ways to apply components of DBT in brief interventions that use technology in novel ways to help individuals improve emotion regulation skills.
