Research in theoretical particle physics with particular emphasis on theory and phenomenology of strong interactions. The main focus is on understanding how the QCD quark & gluon degrees of freedom make up hadrons. The research interests include the following current topics:
partonic structure of hadrons as revealed in high energy reactions
transverse parton momentum dependent distribution and fragmentation functions
form factors, parton distributions and generalized parton distributions of the nucleon
single spin and azimuthal asymmetries in high energy collisions involving hadrons
spontaneous breaking of chiral symmetry, and extrapolation of lattice QCD data
non-perturbative calculations in effective chiral field theories and models.
